Who do we believe? That big question determines our destiny, our success, our health, and possibilities for "life, liberty, and happiness."

COVID. Out for a walk we saw a neighbor and went over to talk. Never closer than 10 feet, yet I wondered, "Are we imposing on him?"

We are tempted to believe in American exceptionalism. But that can be dangerous. We can think we are always the best. But I don't think so
